In my view, one of the ways to solving the conflict between behaviours of the buyers and sellers, is mobile.

We know that internet researching plays an integral part in the purchasing process, yet the majority of businesses don't have a web prescense and of those that do, only a small number are online ready to engage in an on-line conversation at the same time as the customer.

Owners of small business today use mobiles, they are comfortable with them, it's a tool they like and understand. We need to allow them to engage with their customers in conversation, not only using technologies that they are familiar with, but also in a way that their customers want to interact. That may be a straight voice call, but equally it could be a conversation that starts via a message that's posted to the business own community, gets converted to sms which the business owner reads and responds to, equally it could be initiated via an instant message, turned to voice, responded to by voice and back again.

However it's achieved we need to bridge the gap between consumer and business behaviour and thereby break down the conflict!

Well that's my view anyway!
