BT Tradespace rocks Brighton
Oh we did so like to be beside the seaside!
For two days this week in Brighton, the BT Tradespace team, our development and marketing partners and customers shared, debated, informed and firmed up our plans for the next stage in our development. Exciting stuff and good fun too as Derek our Community Manager captured on the Tradespace blog.
The highlight had to be our field work where the whole team - everyone from developers, to experience architects, to marketers, to PR, to producers and programme managers - hit the streets and started talking to local businesses about the BT Tradespace proposition and how the tools of social media can help small businesses grow their business online.
In a telling sign of the times that SMEs are already on the case themselves, one of the companies we spoke to blogged about the experience of being ‘crashed’ by the BT Tradespace team. And yep, hands up I was the ’senior tech/sales guy’!
The whole experience was a practical reminder that markets are conversations and conversations power commerce. All right, where next …

Found this on the web looking for blogs about BT tradespace. I found one a while ago and put a message on to say I’d heard about a guy at BT tradespace who had phoned a friend of mine and helped her load up photos and things. I wanted to find out how I ordered this service.
Just wanted to say how brilliant it was that the guy phoned me. Apparently someone had passed him my blog and he phoned me to help me. Although it was an early enquiry and I’m not quite ready to start yet I was really impressed with this service. I was really worried coz it was a BT product but have to say it seems BT’s coming into the 21st centurey and looks like its a great product and obviously Bt have really got their act together on helping the customer to the nth degree.
I am hoping my placing this blog here (as I cant find the original place I blogged) that it will get to the guy (his name was patrick) to say a great big thank you - what looked hard now looks easy and I definately going to be putting stuff on my tradespace site as soon as I can.
